Pa's best boudoir and glamour photographer: It's time for your sexy photoshoot for your future husband
Are you looking for the ultimate wedding gift for your future husband or wife? A boudoir photoshoot is the perfect wedding gift!
Here is some love we received from our latest bride in the studio! She did a boudoir session as a gift to her future husband but she also made sure we knew she was doing this for herself! She was telling me at the session how much it meant to do something for herself!
“What made you book your boudoir session with Kelsey? I have been a part of her Facebook group for some years now. I decided I wanted to give myself a gift and my future husband for our wedding.
How did you feel before your session and compare it how you felt after? *I went into the session with no expectations and left feeling free and more love in myself.
What would you say to someone who is too nervous to do this or doesn’t feel like she’s worth doing it?This session will change the way you feel and hold yourself. Don't do it for anyone else but you and embrace yourself for the gorgeous human your are!
Please write a few things below about your session so I can add it to your blog post! It can be anything that you took from this experience. I walked into this session with no expectations. I did not want to ruin my experience in my own mind. I went in and Kelsey was so helpful! I am such an indecisive person, and she helped decide what fits would look best. She did my hair an make up as well! I felt so beautiful even thought there may have been minimal clothing. I never thought I would be comfortable like I was with Kelsey! I hope to do another session later down the road.
Would you recommend doing a boudoir session to someone who is looking to feel better about themselves? Yes, I would.”
Boudoir photography is about more than just taking sensual photos it's about embracing your sensuality, celebrating your body, and expressing your unique beauty. When you gift a boudoir session to your partner, you’re not just offering them beautiful images—you’re sharing a deeply personal and intimate part of yourself to them and showing your vulnerability, and that in itself is something so special!
When your partner sees your boudoir photos they’ll be reminded of your beauty, confidence, and allure, rekindling the spark you two have over and over throughout the years!
Here are some step you can take to prepare to find your perfect wedding gift boudoir photographer (heyyyy reach out to me!):
1. Determine Your Style
Decide on the style of boudoir photography you prefer. Do you want something glamorous, playful, romantic, or edgy? Here in our studio at Hollow Photography we have about 20 different sets to choose from and they are always growing!
2. Research Photographers
Start by researching local boudoir photographers online. You want to find a photographer who specializes in boudoir photography (hello I have been in this business since 2018! I got you!)
3. Check Reviews and Testimonials
Read reviews and testimonials from previous clients to get an idea of their experiences. Reviews aren’t always necessary but they can help you determine the right fit for you!
4. Review Portfolios
Carefully review the portfolios of potential photographers. If you want more dark and edgy boudoir photos but the photographer only does soft and clothed you want to make sure you know that ahead of time. You don’t want to go into your session excited to play with whips and chains while in your bday suit and your photographer DOES NOT accept that! I have heard some stories from my clients so make sure you KNOW their boudoir style!
5. Set a Budget
Determine your budget for the boudoir session. Prices can vary widely based on the photographer’s experience, location, and the packages they offer. Most professional boudoir photographers charge over $1500 so be prepared for that!
6. Schedule Consultations
Schedule a consultation. This can be done in person or virtually. Use this time to discuss your vision, ask questions about the process, and gauge your comfort level with the photographer. Hey, I have a form at the end of this to reach out to me, just sayinnnn!
7. Ask About Experience
Most boudoir photographers have a styling guide. WE have many guides as well as a large client closet so if you don’t have anything to bring I got you!
8. Discuss Privacy and Retouching
Ask about the photographer’s privacy policy and how your images will be stored and shared. Also, discuss their approach to retouching and whether it aligns with your preferences for natural or more polished looks.
9. Consider Their Personality
Your comfort during the session is crucial, so choose a photographer whose personality puts you at ease. Trust your instincts—if you feel a connection with your boudoir photographer, it’s likely you’ll have a positive experience. If you don’t feel comfortable with your photographer that can ruin your ENTIRE EXPERIENCE!
10. And lastly, don’t hesitate. If you feel like this is something you’re ready for, then do it! You don’t get this time back so celebrate you now!
