Boudoir hottie of the week: Pennsylvania boudoir

I can't believe it's 2022 already! Did last year really fly by or do I just feel like it did?

Every week in my boudoir photography Facebook group I feature one of my past clients. BUT, as Facebook is falling to be worse and worse I'm going to bring it over here to my website....where it should be anyway!

So today I'm gonna talk about this photoshoot because I think it sets the bar really high for boudoir, well the boudoir that I do anyway. This beauty wanted to do a shoot with her husband and get all dressed up like the 1920s catsby and I was dying for it. Here's what she had to say about her photo shoot I just pulled this right off of my facebook group page:

"If you're on the fence about whether you should schedule a shoot or not, please read this post.

Ok, so Kelsey shared the modest one of me because i made it my profile pic, but i'm going to share with you some of my faves that i don't really want on my personal page. And tbh, it was SO difficult to choose ONLY 10 for my package! The whole photoshoot portfolio was amazing. the entire experience was amazing!! She made me feel so comfortable, but to top that, she made MY HUSBAND feel comfortable too. And he's awkward af!

We had this scheduled for the week when the pandemic became officially official and it was so devastating to have to reschedule. I had purchased the session back in sept 2019 to gift to my husband for Christmas along with front row center stage tix to see one of our fave performers, Post Modern Jukebox. They're pretty cool. Their tour for 2020 was themed the roaring 20s, so i bought some era inspired dresses and surprised him with this entire day planned out to celebrate our 5yr wedding anniversary in March.... Dress up, photoshoot, costume it up for the show. Everything was postponed for obvious reasons, but when i rescheduled, i wasn't going to let the opportunity slip away in September 2020 when we finally got together to do this.

Let me tell you, nothing will look better on you than a little grin of a smile and that flash of confidence. I'm a mom of 4. i don't sleep. 95% of my wardrobe is yoga pants, old tees, and hoodies. i own one "real" bra, and you bet your cookie i wore it that day. But i was there to own it, to own me, to show up for and honor myself. So when i see me in these photos, i can't believe that's me bc that isn't me on the daily. But ya know what else, it's a special me in the photos. It's the "i've birthed 3 kids and have been married for 5 years" me. It's the "2020 has been a shitshow and i'm surviving, let's celebrate" me. It's the me that i'm afraid to step into a lot of the time bc of the judgement and criticism i hear in my head. But these are so perfect. it was exactly what i hoped and wanted to capture. Me. In my mid-30s. With the love of my life. Roaring through 2020.

If you're still thinking about doing this, don't wait. Life is short. Nothing is guaranteed. Love who YOU are, right here, right now, bc you are beautiful. and she does an awesome job of capturing that.

Thanks so much for your love and support, to Kelsey and all you lovelies in the Boudie Glam Fam!"

At my studio we call it boudie glam because it doesn't just have to be lingerie and a bedroom set. You can dress up get glammed up, become somebody that you crave to be for a day. You don't have to bare at all to do these photoshoots with me (or do if you want to, all of my clients have different wants and need)! You can wear whatever you want.. whatever makes you feel beautiful.

Most of my boudoir clients come with three different looks, so this old Gatsby look was just one of hers, trust me her other ones got super spicy.

That's the best thing about doing these photo shoots you can do anything or be anyone you want for the day and there's no judgement, just joy and excitement!

Thank you so much for reading her story and her journey and I hope this gives you a little more of an idea on why boudoir is so special!

See you next time!!
